Inleiding.
Achter de kerk, tegen de achtergevel staat het grafmonument in Neo-gotische vormgeving van de stichters van de kerk.
Omschrijving.
Rechthoekig monument met een hoge opstand, bekroond door een topgevel met dwars erop staande ezelsruggen. Deze laatste rusten op consoles, daaronder staan aan beide zijkanten staande figuren. De zerk is voorzien van een ondiepe spitsboognis, afgewerkt met een geprofileerde band met bladdekoraties.
Waardering.
Het grafmonument is onderdeel van een complex van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als uitdrukking van de ontwikkeling van het katholicisme, in het bijzonder de stichting van kerkdorpen in de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw en is tevens van belang als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de katholieke kerkcomplexen. Het heeft ensemblewaarde wegens de situering aan de vaart, verbonden met de ontwikkeling van de streek. Het complex is van belang wegens de gaafheid van het geheel.

Rectangular monument with a high superstructure, crowned by a gable with saddle-back ridges placed transversely on it. These latter rest on corbels, beneath which stand standing figures on both sides. The grave slab is provided with a shallow pointed arch niche, finished with a profiled band with foliate decoration.
Valuation.
The funerary monument is part of a complex of general importance. It has cultural-historical significance as an expression of the development of Catholicism, in particular the establishment of church villages in the second half of the nineteenth century and is also of importance as an example of the typological development of Catholic church complexes. It has ensemble value because of its situation by the canal, linked to the development of the region. The complex is of importance because of the integrity of the whole.
