Inleiding.
Het BAKHUIS is gebouwd in het derde kwart van de negentiende eeuw en bevindt zich tegenover de boerderij bij de ingang van het erf.
Omschrijving.
Het eenlaagse gebouwtje heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en is opgetrokken uit handvorm baksteen met rechte muurankers. Op het zadeldak liggen rode Oudhollandse dakpannen. De korte voorgevel die naar de Hoge Donk is gekeerd bevat de toegangsdeur. In de topgevel is een klein halfrond venster geplaatst. De topgevel is afgewerkt met vlechtingen en heeft een getrapte tuit als bekroning. Ook de achtergevel is op deze wijze afgewerkt. Midden op het dak bevindt zich een vierkante baksteen schoorsteen. In de rechterzijgevel is een schuifvenster met gedeeld bovenlicht gezet. Hierbij staat op de hoek een ijzeren waterpomp, vermoedelijk uit de jaren dertig. Rechts is rond 1980 een vierkante, nu dichtgezette raamopening gemaakt. De overige gevels zijn blind.
Waardering.
Het bakhuis is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als uitdrukking van een landschappelijke ontwikkeling, met name de opbloei van de landbouw in Midden-Brabant in de late negentiende eeuw. Het heeft ensemblewaarde, gezien de historisch-ruimtelijke relatie met groenvoorzieningen, wegen, wateren en bodemgesteldheid. Het is van belang vanwege een steeds groter wordende typologische zeldzaamheid.

The BAKERY BUILDING was built in the third quarter of the nineteenth century and is situated opposite the farmhouse at the entrance to the yard.
Description.
The single-storey building has a rectangular plan and is constructed of handmade brick with straight wall anchors. On the gabled roof are red traditional Dutch roof tiles. The short front facade facing Hoge Donk contains the entrance door. In the gable is a small semicircular window. The gable is finished with wattle-work and has a stepped spout gable as its crown. The rear facade is also finished in this way. In the middle of the roof is a square brick chimney. In the right side facade is a sash window with divided fanlight. Next to this stands on the corner an iron water pump, presumably from the 1930s. On the right around 1980 a square window opening was made, now blocked. The remaining facades are blank.
Valuation.
The bakery building is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical significance as an expression of a landscape development, in particular the flourishing of agriculture in Central Brabant in the late nineteenth century. It has ensemble value, given the historical-spatial relationship with greenery, roads, waterways and soil conditions. It is of importance because of an increasingly growing typological rarity.
