Omschrijving
Inleiding.
Kloosterboerderij met dwarsdeel uit 1896. De boerderij ligt geheel vrij zuidwestelijk van de grote kapel. De oorspronkelijke koestal is omgebouwd tot garages. In de boerderij bevinden zich twee kelders met opkamers gescheiden door een gang. Een ervan is de melkkelder. De plaats van de varkenshokken en paardenstal is in de gevels nog zichtbaar.
Omschrijving.
De kortgevelboerderij heeft een zadeldak met overstek gedekt met grijze oud-Hollandse pannen. In de lange gevel, aan de kant van de kapel, twee gemetselde topgevels met hooiluiken. Houten geprofileerde gootklossen. Het opgaande werk bestaat uit gele baksteen (IJsselformaat). De muuropeningen zijn voorzien van een segmentboog. In de top van de kopgevels van de boerderij respectievelijk beelden van St. Antonius Abt met 't varken en St. Isidoor in Franse kalksteen. De vloer van de opkamers bestaan uit ijzeren INP profielen waartussen bakstenen tongewelven. In de boerderij een dubbele messing waterpomp met zwengel.
Waardering.
Het object is van algemeen belang als onderdeel van een complex, belangrijk vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als vertegenwoordiger van de transformatie van een herenhuis tot een omvangrijk katholiek complex met een meer dan regionale uitstraling, het heeft typologische waarde als vertegenwoordiger van een congregatieklooster met een gecompliceerde gebruiks- en bouwgeschiedenis. Het is van architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege de gelaagdheid. De boerderij is met name van belang als kloosterboerderij (een zeldzaam gegeven), uitgevoerd in een voor deze streek gebruikelijke typologie, namelijk de kortgevelboerderij. Wooden profiled gutter brackets. The external superstructure consists of yellow brick (Ijssel format). The wall openings are provided with a segmental arch. At the top of the gable ends of the farm respectively sculptures of St. Anthony the Abbot with the pig and St. Isidore in French limestone. The floor of the rooms consist of iron INP sections with brick barrel vaults between them. In the farm a double brass water pump with handle.
Valuation.
