Inleiding.
Ten noorden van het klooster bevindt zich een LOODS voor karren en landbouwwerktuigen, gebouwd in 1932 in Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant naar een ontwerp van pater Guus Caron. De bouw van deze loods leidde binnen het klooster feitelijk tot de oprichting van een zelfstandig bouwbedrijfje. Het ontwerp en de uitvoering werden door pater Caron en de broeders van de timmerwinkel zelfstandig gerealiseerd.
Omschrijving.
Het object beslaat een rechthoekige plattegrond en telt n bouwlaag en een kapverdieping onder een met Hollandse pannen gedekt schilddak. Midden op de nok een houten klokkenstoel onder een tentdakje met geknikte schilden. Stallingsingangen in de noordgevel, die door houten stijlen op poeren wordt opgedeeld in vijf traveen. Overige gevels ingevuld met niet-dragend metselwerk in een wild verband. In de westgevel twee met rollagen omzoomde ruitvormige vensters. In de oostgevel een versoberd beluikt stolpvenster onder strek. Vijf traveen brede achtergevel met blind muurwerk tussen houten stijlen.
Een houtskelet met tussenbalkgebint, bestaande uit met korbelen verstevigde stijlen en ingelaten tussenbalken, ondersteunt de gordingenkap. Met tegels belegde binnenvloer.
Waardering.
De loods voor karren en landbouwwerktuigen is van algemeen belang. Het object bezit cultuurhistorische waarden als bijzondere uitdrukking van geestelijke, economische en agrarische ontwikkelingen, namelijk de vestiging van nieuwe, grotendeels zelfvoorzienende kloostergemeenschappen in het begin van de twintigste eeuw -in dit geval als uitvloeisel van de Franse Wet op de Verenigingen-, de crises van de jaren dertig, en de verbeterde productietechnieken op agrarisch gebied. Het object heeft enige architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de decoratieve kwaliteit van met name de klokkenstoel. Het object bezit tesamen met de overige tot de Sint Paulus-abdij behorende objecten en de binnen de 'Heilige Driehoek' gelegen kloosters ensemblewaarden als essentieel onderdeel van een historisch gegroeid religieus ensemble ten zuidoosten van de kern van Oosterhout. Daarnaast vanwege de functionele historisch-ruimtelijke relatie met een deel van de omliggende, oorspronkelijk agrarisch gebruikte kloostergronden.

Introduction.
To the north of the cloister is a SHED for carts and agricultural implements, built in 1932 in Artisanal-traditional style according to a design by Father Guus Caron. The construction of this shed actually led within the cloister to the establishment of an independent small construction business. The design and execution were realised independently by Father Caron and the brothers of the carpentry workshop.
Description.
The building has a rectangular plan and comprises one storey and a loft storey under a hipped roof covered with Dutch tiles. In the middle of the ridge a wooden bell-cote under a small tent roof with curved hipped ends. Shelter entrances in the north gable, which is divided by wooden posts on bases into five bays. Other gables filled with non-load-bearing masonry in random bond. In the west gable two diamond-shaped windows framed with bands. In the east gable a simplified shuttered stolp window under a lintel. Five bays wide rear gable with blind masonry between wooden posts.
A timber frame with tie-beam roof structure, consisting of posts reinforced with corbels and mortised tie-beams, supports the purlin roof. Floor covered with tiles.
Valuation.
The shed for carts and agricultural implements is of general importance. The building possesses cultural-historical values as a particular expression of spiritual, economic and agricultural developments, namely the establishment of new, largely self-sufficient monastic communities in the early twentieth century - in this case as a consequence of the French Law on Associations - the crises of the nineteen-thirties, and improved production techniques in agriculture. The building has some architectural-historical value because of the decorative quality in particular of the bell-cote. The building possesses, together with the other buildings belonging to the Sint Paulus Abbey and the cloisters located within the 'Holy Trinity', ensemble values as an essential part of a historically developed religious ensemble to the southeast of the centre of Oosterhout. Furthermore on account of the functional historical-spatial relationship with part of the surrounding land originally used for agricultural purposes by the cloister.
