Inleiding.
De AULA op de Isralitische begraafplaats van de I.B.V.A.-Frechie-stichting dateert uit ca. 1915 en is uitgevoerd in Overgangsstijl. Omstreeks 1984 werd ter gelegenheid van het 100-jarig bestaan van de vereniging het gebouw gerenoveerd.
Omschrijving
De AULA is een eenvoudig bakstenen eenlaags gebouw op rechthoekige plattegrond en wordt gedekt door een zadeldak, sedert de renovatie voorzien van betonpannen. Het noord-zuid gerichte gebouw heeft een gecementeerde plint en in de beide korte gevels een hoge inrijpoort onder segmentboog. Deze poorten bestaan elk uit een paneel-vleugeldeur, met in de lichten een davidster. De langsgevels zijn voorzien van spitsbogige vensters met een ijzeren roedenverdeling. Aan de westelijke zijde bevindt zich een kleine eenlaags uitbouw onder platdak. Een paneeldeur in de zuidelijke gevel geeft toegang tot dit gereedschaphok. In het interieur zijn onder meer van belang de ruitvormig gelegde tegelvloer en de in de westelijke wand aangebrachte, in het Hebreeuws opgestelde gebedsplaquette.
Waardering
De AULA van de begraafplaats is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, namelijk de ontwikkeling van de joodse grafcultuur, het is tevens van belang voor de typologische ontwikkeling. Het heeft architectuurhistorisch belang door de verzorgde detaillering. Description
The HALL is a simple brick single-storey building on a rectangular plan and is covered by a gabled roof, since the renovation provided with concrete tiles. The north-south oriented building has a cemented plinth and in both short gables a high entrance portal under segmental arch. These portals each consist of a panel door, with a Star of David in the lights. The long facades are provided with pointed arch windows with iron glazing bars. On the western side there is a small single-storey extension under flat roof. A panel door in the southern gable provides access to this tool shed. In the interior, among other things, the diamond-patterned tile floor and the prayer plaque mounted in the western wall, inscribed in Hebrew, are of importance.

The HALL of the cemetery is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical value as a particular expression of a social and spiritual development, namely the development of Jewish grave culture; it is also of importance for typological development. It has architectural-historical significance through careful detailing.
