Inleiding.
Op de Isralitische begraafplaats "Sombre Hadass" staat, aan de noordelijke zijde van de oost-west getraceerde hoofdstraat en nabij de grafmonumenten van B. Bernsohn (4) en M. Halevy (6) het GRAFMONUMENT in Overgangsstijl met oosterse motieven van de familie Unterman, daterende uit omstreeks 1920.
Omschrijving.
Het object bestaat uit een hardstenen, opstaand grafmonument, en het ervoor gelegen graf, omgeven door hardstenen banden en kleine pijlers. De opstand wordt geflankeerd door granieten kolommen met marmeren kapitelen, waartussen een maremeren plaquette. De bekroning wordt gevormd door een cirkelvormig element, waarop de tekst: "Caveau de la famille / Maurice Unterman". Op de plaquette de inscriptie: "Ici reposent / nos chers et regretts parents / grands parents et beaux-parents / Madame Giselle / Unterman - Weissman / Ne Odessa / le 23 Mai 1853 / Dcd Anvers / le 21 Septembre 1911 / Maurice Unterman / N Jassy / le 19 Fvrier 1850 / Dcd Anversle 12 Mai 1920 / Leurs enfants plors".

Description.
The object consists of a limestone, upright grave monument, and the grave in front of it, surrounded by limestone bands and small piers. The upright is flanked by granite columns with marble capitals, between which a marble plaque. The crown is formed by a circular element, on which the text: "Caveau de la famille / Maurice Unterman". On the plaque the inscription: "Ici reposent / nos chers et regretts parents / grands parents et beaux-parents / Madame Giselle / Unterman - Weissman / Ne Odessa / le 23 Mai 1853 / Dcd Anvers / le 21 Septembre 1911 / Maurice Unterman / N Jassy / le 19 Fvrier 1850 / Dcd Anversle 12 Mai 1920 / Leurs enfants plors".
