Inleiding.
GRAFMONUMENT van A.F. Meijring (1840-1918), diens echtgenote H.L.J.M. Meijring-Halewijn (1848-1920) en nog enkele familieleden. Het graf is circa 1918 in Eclectische vormen opgetrokken. De oorspronkelijke kruisbekroning is verdwenen. Het graf bevindt zich aan de oostelijke zijde van de bisschopskapel in sectie 21-11-02-08.
Omschrijving.
Graf van hardsteen. De iets aflopende tombe met tweezijdig afgeschuinde grafplaat wordt aan drie zijden omgeven door een lage hardstenen afscheiding met vierkante hoekpaaltjes. De achterwand wordt gevormd door een getrapt oplopende stèle met sober geornamenteerde klauwstukken. De afscheidingswand en de tombe hebben een eenvoudig bladornament. De grafplaat heeft een in reliëf aangebrachte kelk aan de linkerzijde. In de grafplaat zijn verder de namen van de bijgezettenen uitgehakt. De stèle heeft een centraal aangebrachte tekstplaquette, waarboven in een segmentboog in reliëf "familie MEIJRING" is uitgehakt. De oorspronkelijke kruisbekroning is verdwenen.
Waardering.
Het grafmonument is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van de katholieke grafcultuur, het is tevens van belang als illustratie van de typologische ontwikkeling van het grafmonument. Het graf heeft ensemblewaarden als onderdeel van een groter geheel met cultuurhistorische, architectuurhistorische en typologische samenhang. Het is gaaf bewaard gebleven en typologisch zeldzaam.

The original cross crowning has disappeared. The grave is located on the eastern side of the bishop's chapel in section 21-11-02-08.
Description.
Grave of hardstone. The slightly sloping tomb with two-sided chamfered grave plate is surrounded on three sides by a low hardstone fence with square corner posts. The back wall is formed by a stepped stele with soberly ornamented claw ornaments. The fence wall and the tomb have simple leaf ornament. The grave plate has a chalice applied in relief on the left side. The names of those buried are further carved into the grave plate. The stele has a centrally placed text plaque, above which "family MEIJRING" is carved in relief in a segmental arch. The original cross crowning has disappeared.
Valuation.
The grave monument is of general importance.
