Inleiding.
GRAFMONUMENT voor Alberdina Johanetta Egberts-van den Boom (1879-1909), in 1909 vervaardigd door de Bossche steenhouwer N. Glaudemans en zn. in Eclectische vormen. Het graf is gelegen in sectie 24-11 aan de westelijke zijde van de begraafplaats.
Omschrijving.
Het graf bestaat uit een iets aflopende tombe met liggende hardstenen grafplaat met daarop een stèle met marmeren vrouwenbeeld. Het geheel is omgeven door een hardstenen omlijsting met zes eenvoudig geornamenteerde paaltjes die onderling door middel van een ijzeren schakelketting zijn verbonden. Het grafschrift is in reliëf op de grafplaat aangebracht. De basis van de stèle is aan de voorzijde met een omlijsting geornamenteerd. Hierboven bevindt zich een rotsachtige opbouw waarop een wit marmeren beeld van een staande vrouwenfiguur in klassiek gewaad is geplaatst. Ze heeft het hoofd (met ster op het voorhoofd) licht opgeheven en heeft een schriftrolletje in de rechterhand en rust met de linkerhand op een anker. De signatuur bevindt zich rechts op de omlijsting. Waardering.
Het grafmonument is van algemeen belang. The grave consists of a slightly sloping tomb with a recumbent hardstone grave plate upon which stands a stele with a marble female figure. The whole is surrounded by a hardstone border with six simply ornamented posts which are interconnected by means of an iron chain link. The grave inscription is applied in relief on the grave plate. The base of the stele is ornamented with a border on the front. Above this is a rocky construction upon which is placed a white marble statue of a standing female figure in classical garb. She holds her head (with a star on the forehead) slightly raised and holds a small scroll in the right hand and rests with the left hand on an anchor. The signature is located on the right on the border. Valuation.
