De bij het WAVO-park behorende OECONOMIEGEBOUW of TRANSFORMATORHUISJE gebouwd in 1927 in de stijl van de Nieuwe Haagse School naar ontwerp van de Haagse architect S. de Clerq, die tevens optrad als huisarchitect van de opdrachtgevers, het echtpaar Van Ommeren - de Voogt.
Omschrijving
Uit grauwe baksteen opgetrokken vrijstaande eenlaags gebouwtje, bestaat uit een samenstel van kubische bouwmassa die onderling ten opzichte van elkaar in hoogte verschillende en ten opzichte van elkaar verspringen. De bouwmassa's worden gedekte door een iets overstekende betonnen afdekking met daaronder als afsluiting van de rechtgesloten gevels een rollaag.
