Inleiding complexonderdeel 2
De bij het WAVO-park behorende twee identieke TOEGANGSHEKKEN gebouwd in 1927 in een bij de architectuur van de woningen aansluitende stijl die verwant is aan de Engelse Landhuisstijl en naar ontwerp van de Haagse architect S. de Clerq, die tevens optrad als huisarchitect van de opdrachtgevers, het echtpaar Van Ommeren - de Voogt.
Omschrijving
Twee toegangshekken aan de uiteinden van de halvemaan-vormige toegangsweg die voor het gebouwencomplex van het WAVO-park loopt. De gemetselde vierkante pijlers met verspringende hoeken worden bekroond door een hardstenen afdekplaats met de naam van het park en bekroond door een bollantaarn.
Waardering
De toegangshekken bij het WAVO-park zijn van algemeen belang vanwege cultuurhistorische, architectuurhistorische en ensemblewaarde: als ruimtelijk en functioneel onderdeel van het WAVOpark, in dezelfde stijl als de woningen, gebouwd door architect S. de Clerq.

The two identical ACCESS GATES belonging to the WAVO-park, built in 1927 in a style corresponding to the architecture of the dwellings which is related to English Country House style and designed according to the design of The Hague architect S. de Clerq, who also acted as house architect for the clients, the married couple Van Ommeren - de Voogt.
Description
Two access gates at the ends of the crescent-shaped access road which runs in front of the building complex of the WAVO-park. The brick square pillars with projecting corners are crowned by a hardstone cover plate with the name of the park and crowned by a bollard lantern.
Valuation
