Omschrijving onderdeel 4: KOETSHUIS.
Het voormalige (in aanleg wellicht nog 18de-eeuwse) koetshuis met koetsierswoning is, met uitzondering van de noordgevel, aanmerkelijk verbouwd. Desondanks wordt het gebouw beschermd en wel vanwege zijn kenmerkende ligging, karakteristieke hoofdvorm, traditioneel materiaalgebruik en de toepassing van historische bouwfragmenten. In 1925 vond een verbouwing tot drie woonhuizen plaats. De zuidgevel werd bij die gelegenheid volgens de smaak van de tijd geheel vernieuwd. Gebouw op rechthoekige plattegrond, verdiepingloos, gedeeltelijk onderkelderd, opgetrokken uit rode baksteen en gedekt door een afgeknot met blauwe Friese golfpannen belegd schilddak. In het muurwerk enkele historische bouwfragmenten. Ramen en deuren uit verschillende perioden; daaronder keldervensters en ramen met meerruitsverdeling. De dubbele deuren in de noordgevel omlijst door zandstenen vleugelstukken (Lodewijk XIV). In de tuin enkele laat-17de-eeuwse ornamenten: een voetstuk van een zonnewijzer en drie andere sokkels.

Description component 4: COACH HOUSE.
The former coach house with coachman's dwelling (possibly still 18th-century in origin) has been substantially altered, with the exception of the north facade. Nevertheless the building is protected, and this is because of its characteristic location, characteristic main form, traditional use of materials and the application of historical building fragments. In 1925 alterations were made to convert it into three dwellings. On that occasion the south facade was entirely renewed according to the taste of the time. Building on rectangular floor plan, one storey, partially vaulted basement, constructed of red brick and covered by a hipped roof clad with blue Frisian pantiles. In the masonry some historical building fragments. Windows and doors from different periods; including basement windows and windows with multi-pane glazing. The double doors in the north facade framed by sandstone brackets (Louis XIV). In the garden some late-17th-century ornaments: a sundial pedestal and three other bases.
