Omschrijving onderdeel 3: TOEGANGSPOORT met aangrenzende KLEINE POORT.
De hoofdtoegang tot het park wordt gevormd door de in 1955 uit bestaande onderdelen gereconstrueerde poort van het Landschapshuis aan de Tweebaksmarkt te Leeuwarden (afgebroken 1849). De zandstenen poort, die eertijds het jaartal 1620 droeg en werd vervaardigd door de Leeuwarder beeldhouwer Jacob Dyonisius, bestaat uit twee in scharnierornamenten gevatte pilasters met geornamenteerde kapitelen, waarboven een doorbroken fronton met het wapen van Friesland geflankeerd door twee leeuwen. Voor het overige nieuw muurwerk in combinatie met historische bouwfragmenten. De kleine poort is verbonden met de toegangspoort en het voormalige koetshuis en geeft toegang tot het achterterrein van dit huis. Description component 3: ENTRANCE GATE with adjoining SMALL GATE.
The main entrance to the park is formed by the gate reconstructed in 1955 from existing components of the Landschapshuis on the Tweebaksmarkt in Leeuwarden (demolished 1849). The sandstone gate, which formerly bore the date 1620 and was made by the Leeuwarden sculptor Jacob Dyonisius, consists of two pilasters set in hinge ornaments with ornamented capitals, above which is a broken pediment with the coat of arms of Friesland flanked by two lions.
