WALHOK, behorende tot het complex voormalige "Bloemenkwekerij Uiterweg 207" en gebouwd in 1926 in zakelijk-expressionistische trant naar ontwerp van architect ir. J.F. Berghoef (1903 - 1994).
Omschrijving
Het walhok, opgetrokken in horizontale gerabatte delen op bakstenen voet op een rechthoekige plattegrond, wordt afgesloten door een ver doorlopende driezijdige steile kap met korte nok, bedekt met oranjerode verbeterde Hollandse pannen. De houten bakgoten rusten op uitstekende houten consoles. Het walhok bevat in de topgevel (NO) een houten deur met ijzeren gehengen met links daarvan een dubbel venster, in de zuidwestgevel een venster. De noordwestgevel wordt geflankeerd door een bakstenen muurtje.
Waardering
Het walhok is van algemeen belang vanwege cultuur- en architectuurhistorisch waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het complex "Bloemenkwekerij Uiterweg 207" en als gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van een walhok uit de eerste helft van de 20ste eeuw, behorende bij een bloemenkwekerij.

WALHOK (Fulling House), belonging to the complex of the former "Bloemenkwekerij Uiterweg 207" and built in 1926 in business-expressionist style according to the design of architect ir. J.F. Berghoef (1903 - 1994).
Description
The walhok, constructed in horizontal rebated sections on a brick base on a rectangular plan, is closed off by an extended three-sided steep roof with short ridge, covered with orange-red improved Dutch tiles. The wooden gutters rest on projecting wooden consoles. The walhok contains in the gable top (NE) a wooden door with iron hinges with to its left a double window, in the southwest gable a window. The northwest gable is flanked by a brick wall.
Valuation
The walhok is of general interest due to cultural and architectural historical value as a historically-functional component of the complex "Bloemenkwekerij Uiterweg 207" and as a well-preserved example of a walhok from the first half of the 20th century, belonging to a flower nursery.
