Inleiding
Twee WIJNPERSEN, waarschijnlijk tussen 1920 en 1940 gebouwd door P. Gerrits in opdracht van de Heilig-Land-
Stichting. De objecten bevinden zich in het oostelijke deel van het terrein van het huidige Bijbels Openluchtmuseum, en zijn gesitueerd in een dal op geringe afstand van de Bergredereliëfs. De wijnpersen maken binnen het complex van de Heilig-Land-Stichting onderdeel uit van het thema "openbare leven van Christus". De thans geïsoleerd gelegen persen verkeren anno 1998 in een verwaarloosde staat.
Omschrijving
Twee identieke WIJNPERSEN van beton die in een helling zijn ingegraven. De persen zijn elk opgedeeld in twee grote en twee kleine bakken. In de bovenste grote bak kunnen druiven worden geperst door er met blote voeten in rond te lopen. Het sap loopt vervolgens door kleine openingen naar de lager gelegen bakken. Op de bovenste bak heeft waarschijnlijk een loofhut gestaan.

Twee WIJNPERSEN uit 1920-1940.

Introduction
Two WINE PRESSES, probably built between 1920 and 1940 by P. Gerrits on commission of the Heilig-Land-Stichting. The objects are situated in the eastern part of the terrain of the current Bijbels Openluchtmuseum, and are located in a valley at a small distance from the Bergrede reliefs. The wine presses form part of the theme "public life of Christ" within the complex of the Heilig-Land-Stichting. The currently isolated presses are in a neglected state as of 1998.
Description
Two identical WINE PRESSES of concrete which are buried into a slope. The presses are each divided into two large and two small basins. In the upper large basin grapes could be pressed by walking round in them with bare feet. The juice then flows through small openings into the lower located basins. A leafy hut probably stood on the upper basin.
Valuation
Two WINE PRESSES from 1920-1940.
