3. De KRUISWEGSTATIES
Omschrijving
De vijf KRUISWEGSTATIES bestaan uit drie kapelletjes van rode en twee van oranje verblendsteen. Hierbij zijn de onderbouw en het middendeel in verblendsteen en de plint, afzaten en de topgevel met schouderstukken in hardsteen uitgevoerd. In een spitsboogvormig afgesloten nis, die is omlijst met uit profielstenen en hardsteen samengestelde colonnetten, bevindt zich een gebeeldhouwde voorstelling in zandsteen reliëf met halffiguren. Onder de nis bevinden zich ingemetselde hardstenen platen met opschriften. Van rechts naar links op de eerste statie: "I STATIE/ JESUS WORDT TER DOOD/ VEROORDEELD"; op de tweede statie: "II STATIE/ JESUS NEEMT HET KRUIS/ OP ZIJNE SCHOUDERS" en in de plint: "IN MEMORIAM/ Fam. Description
The five STATIONS OF THE CROSS consist of three chapels of red and two of orange facing brick. The base and middle section are executed in facing brick and the plinth, offsets and the gable with shoulder pieces in sandstone. In a pointed-arch finished niche, which is framed with colonnettes composed of moulded stones and sandstone, is a sculptured representation in sandstone relief with half-figures. Below the niche are inset sandstone plates with inscriptions. From right to left on the first station: "I STATION/ JESUS IS CONDEMNED/ TO DEATH"; on the second station: "II STATION/ JESUS TAKES UP THE CROSS/ UPON HIS SHOULDERS" and in the plinth: "IN MEMORY OF/ Family FELET"; on the third station: "III STATION/ JESUS FALLS THE FIRST/ TIME BENEATH THE CROSS"; on the fourth station: "IV STATION/ JESUS MEETS HIS/ BELOVED MOTHER" and in the plinth: "IN MEMORY OF/ Family HAMER"; and on the fifth station: "V STATION/ SIMON OF CYRENE HELPS/ JESUS CARRY THE CROSS" and in the plinth: "IN MEMORY OF/ Family F.Th.J.H. Dobbelmann".
Valuation
