Omschrijving onderdeel 9 (Bremweg 2): BOERDERIJ 'MIDDELWEG' behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Broekhuizen en markant gesitueerd op de hoek Broekhuizerlaan en Middelweg.
Het boerenhuis, van het type kleine langhuisboerderij, bestaat uit een woongedeelte en een daarachter gelegen deel gedekt door een afgewolfd zadeldak met rode oud-Hollandse pannen. De gevels zijn opgetrokken met handvorm bakstenen die zijn witgeschilderd met zwartgesausde plint. Het huis is waarschijnlijk in 1775 gebouwd (zie gevelsteen) als twee dienstwoningen van het landgoed Broekhuizen onder één dak met gezamenlijke deel, die in het tweede kwart van de 19de eeuw tot één woning zijn samengetrokken. De boerderij is in 1978 ingrijpend verbouwd onder leiding van ir. N.C.G.M. van de Rijt uit Lienden. Thans in gebruik als woonhuis.
Voorgevel met asymmetrische indeling met uiterst rechts de toegangsdeur (onder-, en bovendeur) voorzien van tweeruits bovenlicht en links daarvan 3 zesruits vensters met luiken. In de van vlechtingen voorziene, afgeknotte topgevel een tweelicht met draairamen, waaronder een gevelsteen met opschrift MIDDELWEG BROEKHUIZEN 177V.
Tegen de rechter zijgevel staat vooraan een klompenhokje op een stenen plint met houten opbouw onder een lessenaarsdakje.
Van de deel zijn de eveneens afgeknotte achtergevel geheel en de westelijke zijgevel gedeeltelijk van hout.
Waardering
De BOERDERIJ 'MIDDELWEG' behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Broekhuizen is van algemeen belang:

Description
Description component 9 (Bremweg 2): FARMHOUSE 'MIDDELWEG' belonging to the historic estate Broekhuizen and markedly situated at the corner of Broekhuizerlaan and Middelweg.
The farmhouse, of the type small longhouse farmhouse, consists of a residential section and a section behind it covered by a curved gabled roof with red old-Dutch tiles. The facades are constructed with handmade bricks that are whitewashed with black-painted plinth. The house was probably built in 1775 (see gable stone) as two service dwellings of the estate Broekhuizen under one roof with shared section, which in the second quarter of the 19th century were combined into one dwelling. The farmery was extensively renovated in 1978 under the direction of ir. N.C.G.M. van de Rijt from Lienden. Currently in use as a residential house.
Front facade with asymmetrical layout with the entrance door at the far right (lower and upper door) provided with two-pane fanlight and to its left 3 six-pane windows with shutters. In the stepped gable fitted with wattle infill a two-light window with casements, below which a gable stone with inscription MIDDELWEG BROEKHUIZEN 177V.
Against the right side facade at the front stands a wooden-shoe shed on a stone plinth with wooden superstructure under a lean-to roof.
Of the barn the likewise stepped rear facade is entirely of wood and the western side facade partially of wood.
