Omschrijving onderdeel 8: INRIJHEK behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Broekhuizen.
Halverwege de oprijlaan (hoek Broekhuizerlaan en Bremweg/Middelweg) aan de noordoostkant van het park staat een inrijhek uit het begin van de 19de eeuw. Het bestaat uit zes gepleisterde pijlers met blinde velden en natuurstenen afdekplaten op parallellogram-vormige plattegrond (de zijden lopen evenwijdig met de Broekhuizerlaan en de Bremweg-Middelweg, die niet geheel loodrecht op elkaar staan). De twee middelste bekroond door Lodewijk XVI siervazen als op het hoofdgebouw (circa 1800). Tussen de pijlers ijzeren spijlenhekken.

Description of component 8: ENTRANCE GATE belonging to the historical country estate Broekhuizen.
Halfway along the drive (corner of Broekhuizerlaan and Bremweg/Middelweg) on the northeastern side of the park stands an entrance gate from the early 19th century. It consists of six plastered piers with blind panels and natural stone capping plates on a parallelogram-shaped floor plan (the sides run parallel to the Broekhuizerlaan and the Bremweg-Middelweg, which do not stand entirely perpendicular to each other). The two central ones crowned by Louis XVI ornamental vases as on the main building (circa 1800). Between the piers iron spike fences.
