Omschrijving
De WONING "Meerzicht" is een restant van het zeventiende-eeuwse huis Meer en Berg. Op de tekening van de tuinaanleg van Marot is dit schetsmatig te zien. Het stond ten noorden van het inrijhek. De plattegrond was niet zuiver symmetrisch. Centraal lag een achtzijdig uitgebouwde koepelkamer met aan weerszijden een klein vertrek. Aan de zuidzijde sloot hierop een vierkant bouwdeel aan. Aan de noordzijde een wat groter rechthoekig bouwdeel. Dit laatste nu is het gebouw dat er thans nog staat. Het gebouw is vijf traveeën breed en twee bouwlagen hoog. Het wordt gedekt door een met pannen belegd schilddak met vier hoekschoorstenen en dakkapellen. Met uitzondering van de voorgevel is het huis gepleisterd. Het metselwerk van de voorgevel is bij een restauratie geheel vernieuwd. Toen zijn ook de vensters in een nieuwe vormgeving aangebracht. Tegen de noordgevel is een kleine aanbouw gebouwd.

Description
The DWELLING "Meerzicht" is a remnant of the seventeenth-century house Meer en Berg. On the drawing of Marot's garden layout this can be seen schematically. It stood to the north of the entrance gate. The floor plan was not perfectly symmetrical. Centrally was an octagonal built-out cupola room with on either side a small room. On the south side a square building section adjoined this. On the north side a somewhat larger rectangular building section. The latter is now the building that still stands. The building is five bays wide and two storeys high. It is covered by a tile-covered hipped roof with four corner chimneys and roof dormers. With the exception of the front façade, the house is rendered. The masonry of the front façade was completely renewed during a restoration. At that time, windows were also installed in a new design. A small extension was built against the north façade.
