Inleiding
Klein WATERPOMPSTATION uit 1932, met steil zadeldak, geïsoleerd gelegen in een weiland, maar onderdeel van het waterwin-complex. Het is gebouwd om de druk op het leidingwater te verhogen om hoog gelegen panden te kunen bereiken.
Het pand ligt in het fraai glooiende landschap op een opvallende plaats in het dal, op enige afstand van de twee grotere waterpomstations.
Omschrijving
Het gebouw is ontworpen met invloed van de Amsterdamse en de Haagse School. Vermoedelijk was het nu witgeschilderde muurwerk oorspronkelijk ongeschilderd.
Het kleine gebouw verschilt sterk van het waterpompstation uit 1926, vooral door het zeer steile zadeldak met rode oud-hollandse pannen, dat aan alle vier de zijden flink oversteekt. Als horizontaal accent lopen de forse goten een stuk om de einden van de windveren heen. De VOORGEVEL, een steile puntgevel, heeft een rondboog-ingang, waarboven het bouwjaar is aangegeven. De deurposten hebben uitgemetselde blokken. De drie andere GEVELS bevatten ieder een liggend venster met stalen ramen met liggende ruiten. De plint en het muurwerk onder de vensters zijn wat uitgemetseld, de bovenzijde hiervan is nu zwart geschilderd. De ACHTERGEVEL is een steile puntgevel.

Small WATER PUMPING STATION from 1932, with a steep gabled roof, standing isolated in a meadow, but part of the water extraction complex. It was built to increase the pressure on the mains water in order to reach high-lying buildings.

Description
The building was designed under the influence of the Amsterdam and The Hague School. Presumably the now white-painted masonry was originally unpainted.
The small building differs greatly from the water pumping station from 1926, particularly through the very steep gabled roof with red old-Dutch tiles, which projects considerably on all four sides. As a horizontal accent the substantial gutters run some distance around the ends of the wind vanes. The FRONT FACADE, a steep pointed gable, has a round-arch entrance, above which the year of construction is indicated. The door posts have projecting stone blocks. The three other FACADES each contain a horizontal window with steel frames with horizontal panes.
