Inleiding
WOONHUIS in Eclectische stijl uit ca. 1885. Het huis ligt op een rechthoekig perceel, het maakt onderdeel uit van de Willem II straat.
Omschrijving
Het huis heeft twee bouwlagen en een zolderverdieping. Het wordt gedekt door een zadeldak voorzien van grijze opnieuw verbeterde Hollandse pannen. Het opgaande werk bestaat uit rode handgevormde baksteen gemetseld in kruisverband. De vier traveeën brede voorgevel, wordt afgesloten door een kroonlijst, hij heeft een hardstenen plint en een fries met daarin tien consoles. Beide bouwlagen hebben rechtgesloten muuropeningen met afgeronde bovenhoeken. Ze zijn voorzien van geprofileerde stuclijsten met een kuifbekroning. De voordeur wordt links geflankeerd door een en rechts door twee schuifvensters. Op de verdieping bevinden zich vier schuifvensters. In twee bovenlichten op de begane grond glas-in-lood ramen.

Het huis is van algemeen belang. RESIDENTIAL HOUSE in Eclectic style from circa 1885. The house stands on a rectangular plot, it forms part of the Willem II straat.
Description
The house has two storeys and an attic storey. It is covered by a gabled roof fitted with grey newly improved Dutch tiles. The masonry consists of red hand-formed bricks laid in common bond. The four-bay-wide front facade is terminated by a cornice moulding, it has a sandstone plinth and a frieze with ten consoles in it. Both storeys have straight-headed wall openings with rounded upper corners. They are fitted with moulded stucco lintels with cyma moulding. The front door is flanked on the left by one and on the right by two sash windows. On the upper storey there are four sash windows. In two fanlights on the ground floor leaded glass windows.
Valuation
The house is of general interest. It has cultural-historical significance as an example of a socio-economic development, namely the creation of new urban planning structures in the context of the flourishing of the industrial city, it is of significance for the typological development of the townhouse.
