At the rear on the ground floor, there is a single-storey lean-to-roof conservatory extending the full width of the house. The projection has an elevated portico with a monumental entrance, accessible via a front hardstone staircase of four steps. Oak double doors with carved needle and panels and fanlight with wrought-iron ornamental grille. Above this on the second storey a balcony, consisting of a hardstone floor slab resting on scroll-shaped consoles with an ornamental wrought-iron balustrade with the municipal coats of arms of Amsterdam and Tilburg in the upper edge. Double balcony doors. Between a broken pediment, above the central bay in the roof there is a large arched roof pediment, flanked by smaller ones. The pediments, with wrought-iron cresting, have scroll-shaped claw pieces. The arched wall openings, in which sash windows are fitted, have moulded stucco bands with a plume cresting. The openings also have below a segmental pediment and above a straight cornice with plume. The lower windows are equipped with wooden roller shutters. The upper windows have a T-shaped division.
