Inleiding
Het gebouw voor de eigen WATERVOORZIENING uit 1937 met elementen van het Nieuwe Bouwen bevindt zich langs de hoofdverbindingsas van het terrein en ten zuidwesten van het bezinkbassin. Het diende om de grondwaterpompen onder te brengen.
Omschrijving
Het tweelaagse gebouwtje, dat is opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen, is gebouwd op rechthoekig grondplan onder plat dak in een bouwwijze die is afgeleid van het rioolgemaal. De daklijst wordt geaccentueerd door windveerpannen. De gevels in de zuidwesthoek lopen uit in de schoorsteen, die iets boven de daklijst uitsteekt. De achterzijde kent een eenlaagse aanbouw onder ver uitstekend plat dak. In de voorgevel op de begane grond is een niet oorspronkelijk venster aangebracht. De toegangsdeur bevindt zich in de westgevel van de aanbouw. In de achtergevel van de aanbouw zijn twee verhoogde rechtgesloten venster met enkele ramen aangebracht. Langs dezelfde achtergevel loopt een ijzeren trap omhoog die toegang geeft tot het dak, vanwaar de enkele toegangsdeur op de verdieping kan worden bereikt.
Waardering
Het object is van algemeen belang. Het heeft architectuurhistorische waarde als uitdruking van het Nieuwe Bouwen. Het heeft ensemblewaarden vanwege de samenhang met de overige objecten en de beplanting. Het object is nog voldoende gaaf bewaard gebleven.

The building for the water supply system built in 1937 with elements of the Nieuwe Bouwen movement is located along the main connection axis of the site and to the southwest of the settling basin. It was designed to house the groundwater pumps.
Description
The two-storey building, constructed from machine-made brick, was built on a rectangular ground plan under a flat roof in a construction method derived from the sewage pumping station. The roof cornice is accentuated by wind weather vanes. The facades at the southwest corner terminate in a chimney, which protrudes slightly above the roof cornice. The rear has a single-storey annex under a far projecting flat roof. A non-original window has been inserted in the front facade on the ground floor. The entrance door is located in the west facade of the annex. In the rear facade of the annex are two raised closed-off windows with single panes. Along the same rear facade an iron staircase runs upwards providing access to the roof, from which the single entrance door on the upper floor can be reached.
Valuation
The object is of general importance. It has architectural-historical value as an expression of the Nieuwe Bouwen movement. It has ensemble value because of its relationship with the other objects and the planting. The object has been preserved sufficiently intact.
