Inleiding.
VEESTAL, voor varkens, paarden, runderen en hooiopslag gebouwd rond 1915 ten behoeve van de voormalige pachtboerderij. Bij een verbouwing zijn de rondbogige ingangen vervangen door rechte deuropeningen.
Omschrijving.
Achter het woonhuis staat een hoge stal, met rechthoekige plattegrond en een zadeldak met zwarte muldenpannen. De eerste laag is gemetseld en gepleisterd, de verdieping bestaat uit gepotdekselde planken acaciahout. In de naar de woning gekeerde zuidgevel bevindt zich rechts een uitbouw onder het daar doorgetrokken dak, waarin twee rechte staldeuren zijn gezet met een klein raam daarboven. In de zuidgevel verder rechthoekige ramen en kleine deuren. Aan de muur hangt een grote bel met klingel, om het einde van de werktijd aan te kondigen. In de noordgevel in het midden brede deuren en luiken in het houtwerk, verder kleine ramen en deuren. In de zijgevels ook ramen met kleine roedenverdeling en hooiluiken op zolderhoogte. Het interieur bevat de verschillende stalruimten en, naar de aanbouw toe, nog een rondbogige deuropening. De hoge zoldering rust op een rank eikehouten gebint.
Waardering.
De stal is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw is van cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van een sociaal-economische ontwikkeling, namelijk de stichting van landhuizen in de groene omgeving van de stad. Behind the dwelling house stands a tall barn, with rectangular plan and a gabled roof with black moulded tiles. The first storey is rendered brick and plastered, the upper storey consists of weatherboarded acacia wood. In the south-facing gable facing the dwelling on the right is an extension under the roof drawn through there, in which two straight stable doors are set with a small window above. In the south gable further rectangular windows and small doors. On the wall hangs a large bell with bell-pull, to announce the end of working time. In the north gable in the middle wide doors and shutters in the woodwork, further small windows and doors. In the side gables also windows with small glazing bars and haylofts at attic level. The interior contains the various stable spaces and, towards the extension, still a round-arched door opening. The high ceiling rests on a slender oak timber frame.
