Inleiding
SCHUUR, in de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw opgetrokken in een streek-eigen bouwtrant. De schuur is gelegen op het achtererf van de langgevelboerderij (onderdeel I).
Omschrijving
De geheel vrijstaande dwarsdeelschuur heeft één bouwlaag op rechthoekige grondslag met lage muren in schoon metselwerk en gedeeltelijk houten en met stro beklede wanden onder een met stro gedekt schilddak. Aan elke zijde van de zuidoostelijke gevel bevindt zich een grote, houten dubbele inrijpoort; de meest linkse daarvan is geplaatst in een ingesnoerde hoek. De deuren zijn geteerd.
Waardering
De dwarsdeelschuur is van algemeen belang. Het object heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van de sociaal-economische en typologische ontwikkeling van het boerenbedrijf en de langgevelboerderij en dwarsdeelschuur in Noord-Brabant. Description
The completely detached transverse barn has one storey on rectangular ground plan with low walls in fine brickwork and partially wooden and straw-clad walls under a hipped roof covered with straw. On each side of the south-eastern facade there is a large, wooden double carriage door; the leftmost of these is placed in a recessed corner. The doors are tarred.
Valuation
The transverse barn is of general importance. The object has cultural-historical value as a particular expression of the socio-economic and typological development of the farming business and the long-facade farmhouse and transverse barn in North Brabant. It has architectural-historical value because of the particular use of materials. It has ensemble value because of the particular coherence between the constituent components. It is important because of the rarity of such well-preserved ensembles.
