Inleiding
KOETSHUIS met dienstwoning, omstreeks 1895 opgetrokken in ambachtelijk-traditionele vormen. Het vrijstaande koetshuis is gesitueerd aan de zuidoostelijke kant van het landhuis. In 1969 is er een erker aangebouwd en werd het intern aan de gedeeltelijke woonfunctie aangepast. De erker valt buiten de van rijkswege geldende bescherming.
Omschrijving
Koetshuis op T-vormige grondslag van één bouwlaag met kapverdieping onder een met kruispannen gedekt, samengesteld en deels afgewolfd schilddak. De gevels zijn voorzien van houten betimmeringen. De witgeschilderde gevels zijn opgetrokken in machinale baksteen en worden verlevendigd door speklagen van natuursteen en een fries met metselornamentiek onder de overhangende goot. Verder zijn in de gevels smeedijzeren krulankers aangebracht. De venster- en deuropeningen zijn getoogd met segmentbogen. Enkele recht gesloten vensters, met name aan de west- en de zuidgevel zijn vergroot. In de westgevel bevindt zich de dubbele opgeklampte inrijpoort. Deze is licht getoogd en heeft een hanenkam aan de bovenzijde.
Inwendig is nauwelijks bijzondere detaillering aanwezig.
Waardering
Het koetshuis is van algemeen belang. Het koetshuis heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling waarbij de gegoede burgerij en de bestuurlijke elite zich in de directe nabijheid van 's-Hertogenbosch aan de uitvalswegen van de kleinere, meer landelijke, plaatsen daaromheen vestigen en daar een landhuis laten bouwen.
Het is van architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege de bijzondere samenhang tussen de samenstellende onderdelen, de typologische en de kunsthistorische kwaliteit van de toegepaste eclectische en neoromaanse stijlelementen.
Het heeft ensemblewaarde vanwege de hoogwaardige kwaliteit van de bebouwing en de historisch-ruimtelijke relatie met de wegen en groenvoorzieningen. Het is van belang vanwege de bouwtechnische en typologische zeldzaamheid die het als zodanig bezit.

COACH HOUSE with servant's dwelling, constructed circa 1895 in artisanal-traditional forms. The detached coach house is situated on the south-eastern side of the country house. In 1969 a bay was added and the interior was adapted to a partial residential function. The bay falls outside the protection afforded by the state.
Description
Coach house on a T-shaped ground plan of one storey with roof space under a hipped roof, composite and partly half-hipped, covered with crossed roof tiles. The facades are provided with wooden boarding. The whitewashed facades are constructed in machine-made brick and are enlivened by courses of natural stone and a frieze with masonry ornamentation under the overhanging gutter. Furthermore ornamental wrought-iron wall anchors are incorporated in the facades. The window and door openings are arched with segmental arches. Some straight-closing windows, particularly on the west and south facades have been enlarged. In the west facade is the double clamp-fixed cart entrance. This is slightly arched and has a rooster comb at the top.
Interiorly there is scarcely any special detailing present.
Valuation
The coach house is of general importance. The coach house has cultural-historical value as a particular expression of the socio-economic development whereby the affluent bourgeoisie and the administrative elite established themselves in the direct vicinity of 's-Hertogenbosch on the main roads of the smaller, more rural, places around it and had a country house built there.
It is of architectural-historical importance because of the particular coherence between the constituent components, the typological and art-historical quality of the applied eclectic and Romanesque Revival style elements.
It has ensemble value because of the high quality of the building and the historic-spatial relationship with the roads and green spaces. It is important because of the building-technical and typological rarity which it possesses as such.
