Omschrijving onderdeel 4:
ENTREEHEK behorende tot de buitenplaats Sparrendaal. De toegang tot het voorplein wordt gemarkeerd door twee bakstenen pijlers op hardstenen voetstuk onder een hardstenen afdekplaat, waarop een hardstenen, vaasvormig ornamentstuk in Lodewijk XV stijl staat. Tussen de pijlers bevindt zich een dubbel spijlenhek met twee draaibare vleugelstukken, die eveneens als hek fungeren. Het centrale inrijhek en de vleugelstukken worden gescheiden door ornamentele, smeedijzeren tussenstukken met voluten. Het hek is niet oorspronkelijk, maar afkomstig uit Harderwijk en na de restauratie op Sparrendaal geplaatst. Het dateert uit het midden van de 18de eeuw.

ENTRANCE GATE belonging to the country estate Sparrendaal. The access to the forecourt is marked by two brick pillars on a hardstone base under a hardstone capping, on which a hardstone, vase-shaped ornamental piece in Louis XV style stands. Between the pillars is a double bar gate with two rotating wing sections, which also function as a gate. The central carriage gate and the wing sections are separated by ornamental, wrought-iron intermediate sections with volutes. The gate is not original, but comes from Harderwijk and was placed on Sparrendaal after restoration. It dates from the middle of the 18th century.
