Omschrijving onderdeel 5:
BRUG behorende tot de buitenplaats Sparrendaal. De omgrachte nutstuin is bereikbaar via een rode bakstenen rondboogbrug met naar de oevers licht uitzwenkende keermuren, welke aan de bovenzijde zijn voorzien van een hardstenen afdekplaat. De eenvoudige ijzeren brugleuningen zijn samengesteld uit twee regels en balustervormige spijlen. Het brugdek is voorzien van een klinkerbestrating. De brug dateert uit de 18de eeuw.

BRIDGE belonging to the country estate Sparrendaal. The moated kitchen garden is accessible via a red brick round-arched bridge with retaining walls that splay slightly towards the banks, which are provided with a hardstone capping at the top. The simple iron bridge railings are composed of two rails and balusters-shaped bars. The bridge deck is provided with a clinker paving. The bridge dates from the 18th century.
