Inleiding
Aan de oostelijke zijde van het voormalige gesticht Pius staat de bijbehorende eenbeukige KAPEL, gebouwd omstreeks 1900. De kapel staat aan twee zijden geheel vrij; aan de zuidelijke zijde grenst zij aan de binnenplaats van het gesticht; aan de noordelijke zijde aan het voorplein van de R.K. kerk van Ginneken, terwijl tegen de oostelijke zijde een lagere aanbouw met poort staat.
Omschrijving
De eenbeukige kapel heeft een eenvoudige, rechthoekige plattegrond en wordt gedekt door een afgewolfd zadeldak, belegd met kruispannen.
De gevels zijn gemetseld in baksteen en vrijwel niet geornamenteerd. In de noordelijke gevel van het schip zijn rondboogvormige vensters aangebracht, voorzien van glas-in-lood vulling. Aan de linkerzijde van deze gevel is een opgeklampte toegangsdeur, gevat in een halfsteens uitspringende omlijsting met puntgevel. Onder de rondboogvormige vensters bevindt zich een tweetal tripletten.
Inwendig bevindt zich een tribune.

Introduction
On the eastern side of the former institution Pius stands the associated single-aisle CHAPEL, built around 1900. The chapel stands entirely free on two sides; on the southern side it borders the courtyard of the institution; on the northern side the forecourt of the R.K. church of Ginneken, while against the eastern side stands a lower extension with a gate.
Description
The single-aisle chapel has a simple, rectangular floor plan and is covered by a barrel-vaulted gabled roof, laid with pantiles.
The facades are built in brick and are virtually unornamented. In the northern facade of the nave are round-arched windows, provided with stained glass infill. On the left side of this facade is an attached entrance door, set in a half-brick projecting frame with a pointed gable. Below the round-arched windows are two triplets.
Internally there is a gallery.
