Omschrijving
St.Laurentius. 1901-1902, door Jos.Cuypers en Jan Stuyt. Driebeukige kruisbasiliek in neogotische trant, met ten dele vijfbeukig schip, koor geflankeerd door diagonaal geplaatste driezijdig gesloten kapellen, hoge vierkante kruisingstoren met hoektorens en achtkantige spits, vierkante traptorens aan weerszijden van de voorgevel. Inwendig natuurstenen zuilen met kapiteelloos teniet lopende schiebogen, metselwerk met natuurstenen banden en houten tongewelven met trekbalken over de hoofdbeuken. Belangrijk werk uit de overgangsperiode tussen de neo-gotiek en de nieuwe kerkelijke bouwkunst. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, C. van Dorst, is buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
St. Laurentius. 1901-1902, by Jos. Cuypers and Jan Stuyt. Three-aisled cruciform basilica in neo-gothic style, with partly five-aisled nave, choir flanked by diagonally placed chapels closed on three sides, high square crossing tower with corner towers and octagonal spire, square staircases towers on either side of the front facade. Internally natural stone columns with capitals merging into skew arches, masonry with natural stone bands and wooden barrel vaults with tie beams over the main aisles. Important work from the transition period between neo-gothic and modern ecclesiastical architecture. Mechanical tower clock, C. van Dorst, is out of service.
