TUINMANSWONING, gebouwd in 1912 in Neo-Renaissancestijl, in opdracht van de familie Smits van Oyen naar een ontwerp van J.Th.J. Cuypers.
Omschrijving
Eénlaags pand op een vierkante plattegrond onder tentdak. Het dak is gedekt met leisteen en heeft een gootlijst op klossen.
Tegen de voorzijde is een risaliet met trapgevel en een haaks op het hoofddak geplaatst zadeldak zichtbaar. Een uitstekend portiek is op de hoek van het pand aanwezig. Op een bakstenen muurtje zijn houten pilaren met een natuurstenen voet geplaatst, de pilaren worden naar boven toe breder en ondersteunen een houten afdekking. Het pand is uitgevoerd in baksteen waarbij een aantal elementen in natuursteen zijn aangebracht, voorbeelden daarvan zijn de blokken naast de ramen, delen van de strekken boven de ramen en de afdekplaten op de trapgevel.
De T-ramen hebben luiken, in de topgevel is een samengesteld raam aangebracht. De boven- en zijlichten van de deur zijn gevuld met glas-in-lood.
