Inleiding
KRUISWEG, bestaande uit veertien sculpturen in neo-gotische stijl. De staties werden in kunststeen gemaakt door de firma van Balgooy uit Nijmegen in 1918-1919. De figuren zijn circa één meter hoog. De totale hoogte van de sculpturen bedraagt ongeveer twee meter, de breedte is circa anderhalve meter.
Tussen 1965 en 1970 is een aantal van deze staties (nummer 3, 7 en 8) vernieuwd.
Omschrijving
De verschillende staties zijn in kunststeen uitgevoerd en geplaatst op grote basementen van imitatie-rots in gegoten beton. Hierop is een plaquette in relëf aangebracht met het nummer en de titel van de voorstelling.
De voorstellingen zelf worden gevormd door een aantal figuren, in hoog reliëf en vrijstaand, tegen een achtergrond van architectuur.
De kruisiging van Christus als twaalfde statie in deze reeks wordt gevormd door de voorstelling op een calvarieberg aan het einde van de centrale as, waar deze tegen het slingerend pad eindigt. De laatste statie (XIV, Jezus wordt in het graf gelegd) bevindt zich rechts van de centrale as, aan het begin van het park.
Waardering
De KRUISWEG is van algemeen belang. Hij heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als uitdrukking van een geestelijke ontwikkeling en als toonbeeld van de devotie voor Christus in Noord-Brabant. Daarnaast is de kruisweg van typologisch belang als onderdeel van een processiepark uit de vroege twintigste eeuw. Het geheel heeft architectuurhistorische waarden als voorbeeld van een parkaanleg met monumenten in diverse stijlen. Het heeft ensemblewaarden vanwege de situering en de samenhang met het kerkgebouw en de relatie met de ontwikkeling van Handel als bedevaartsoord en kloosternederzetting.

SCULPTUUR, met levensgrote voorstelling van Christus in de hof van olijven. Het geheel is uitgevoerd in kunststeen en gemaakt door de firma van Balgooy in 1917. De sculptuur ligt in het verlengde van de centrale as, achter het pad aan de uiterste oostrand van het park. Hij maakt geen deel uit van de kruisweg maar heeft dezelfde vormgeving. De sculptuur heeft een totale hoogte van circa drie meter en heeft een brede, uitwaaierende voet.

Op een grote betonnen sokkel met brede trap is een knielende Christus voor een Engel met kelk gezet. Op de traptreden liggen een drietal slapende apostelen.

WAY OF THE CROSS, consisting of fourteen sculptures in neo-Gothic style. The stations were made in artificial stone by the firm Van Balgooy from Nijmegen in 1918-1919. The figures are approximately one metre high. The total height of the sculptures is approximately two metres, the width is approximately one and a half metres.

The sculpture is in line with the central axis, behind the path at the far eastern edge of the park. It is not part of the Way of the Cross but has the same design. The sculpture has a total height of approximately three metres and has a broad, flaring base.
Description
On a large concrete plinth with broad flight of steps is a kneeling Christ set before an Angel with chalice. On the steps lie three sleeping apostles.
