Inleiding
Aan de zuidelijke zijde van het bedrijfsdeel van Geldersestraat 10 staat een eenvoudig BAKHUIS uit omstreeks 1900.
Omschrijving
Het eenlaags bakhuis heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en wordt gedekt door een zadeldak met oud Hollandse pannen. De gevels zijn gemetseld in baksteen. In de westelijke gevel een klein stalvenster; in de noordelijke gevel een eenvoudige opgeklampte deur. Op het dak staat een kleine schoorsteen.
In het interieur is de oorspronkelijke oven nog aanwezig.
Waardering
De bakhuis is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in de Peel en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van het bakhuis. Het heeft ensemblewaarden in samenhang met de nederzetting Helenaveen. Het is tevens van belang vanwege de gaafheid van het exterieur.

On the southern side of the business part of Geldersestraat 10 stands a simple BAKEHOUSE dating from around 1900.
Description
The single-storey bakehouse has a rectangular plan and is covered by a gabled roof with old Dutch tiles. The facades are laid in brick. In the western facade a small stable window; in the northern facade a simple clamped door. On the roof stands a small chimney.
In the interior the original oven is still present.
Valuation
The bakehouse is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical significance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in the Peel and as an example of the typological development of the bakehouse. It has ensemble values in connection with the settlement Helenaveen. It is also of importance because of the integrity of the exterior.
