Inleiding
Omstreeks 1875 gebouwde PASTORIE direct ten zuiden van en behorende bij de als rijksmonument beschermde Nederlands Hervormde kerk (monumentnr. 401939). De pastorie is opgetrokken in eclectische trant en staat aan de oostzijde van de Poststraat met de noklijn schuin op deze straat.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekig grondplan gebouwde pastorie bestaande uit twee bouwlagen en kapverdieping onder schilddak met zwarte kruispan. Het muurwerk is witgepleisterd en ter decoratie voorzien van pleisterwerk op de hoeken van de gevel en lichtrisalerende middenpartij in de vorm van geblokte pilasters en geprofileerde aanzet- en sluitstenen boven de vensters. De rechterhoek van de voorgevel (Z) is afgerond. De gevels worden afgesloten door een omgaand hoofdgestel waarvan de kroonlijst rust op consoles die nabij de hoeken paarsgewijs zijn geplaatst.
De voorgevel (W) telt vier vensterassen die - met uitzondering van de dubbele paneeldeur met bovenlicht in de risalerende derde as vanaf links - alle zijn voorzien van T-vormige schuifvensters. Deze risaliet wordt boven de kroonlijst benadrukt door een houten dakkapel met fronton en vierruits stolpraam.
De linkerzijgevel (N) heeft een symmetrische indeling. De begane grond heeft twee schuifvensters en de verdieping één schuifvenster en een spaarveld.
De rechterzijgevel (Z) heeft een asymmetrische verdeling van schuifvensters in twee formaten en op twee hoogten en de verdieping voorzien van T-ramen. Deze gevel heeft een smalle uitgebouwde verticale partij tot halverwege de verdieping (toiletten).
Tegen de achtergevel staat een in de stijl van het huis gehouden aanbouw onder plat dak met omgaande kroonlijst. De begane grond bevat een paneeldeur met glaspaneel en schuifvensters met T-raam, de verdieping heeft vensters met meerruits stolpraam.

Parsonage built on a rectangular ground plan consisting of two storeys and roof chamber under a hipped roof with black pantiles. The brickwork is whitewashed and decorated with plasterwork on the corners of the facade and a slightly projecting central section in the form of blocked pilasters and profiled base and crown stones above the windows. The right corner of the front facade (S) is rounded. The facades are terminated by a continuous main cornice with a cornice resting on consoles placed in pairs near the corners.
The front facade (W) has four window bays which - with the exception of the double panel door with fanlight in the projecting third bay from the left - are all provided with T-shaped sash windows. This risalit is emphasized above the cornice by a wooden roof dormer with pediment and four-pane casement window.
