Haaks op de weg, achter de bebouwing aan de straatzijde gelegen TOUWBAAN uitgelegd op de langgerekte cope-ontginning, parallel aan de sloot. Het object van één bouwlaag is meer dan 300 meter lang en is gedekt met een zadeldak met delen rode en gesmoorde Hollandse pannen of samengevoegd in herfstkleur. De lange zijden zijn voor het grootste deel opgebouwd uit verticale messing- en groefplanken. Onder het dakvlak is in de gevel een smalle lichtstrook aangebracht.
Aan de straat(zuid)zijde is een deel van de baan opgetrokken uit baksteen. De gevels zijn voorzien van stalen roedenvensters met een getoogde bovenzijde.
Waardering De touwbaan is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als redelijk gaaf en zeldzaam geworden voorbeeld van een touwbaan met uitzonderlijke lengte. Van cultuurhistorische waarde vanwege de functie alsmede van situationele waarde vanwege de ligging in lijn van de cope-ontginning aan de Hekendorperweg.

Description
At right angles to the road, behind the buildings on the street side, a ROPE WALK laid out on the elongated cope reclamation, parallel to the ditch. The single-storey object is more than 300 metres long and is covered with a gabled roof with parts of red and dampened Dutch tiles or combined in autumn colours. The long sides are for the most part constructed from vertical tongue-and-groove boards. Under the roof plane a narrow light strip has been created in the facade.
On the street (south) side part of the building is constructed from brick. The facades are provided with steel rod windows with a curved upper part.
Valuation The rope walk is of general importance because of its architectural-historical value as a reasonably well-preserved and increasingly rare example of a rope walk with exceptional length. Of cultural-historical value because of its function and also of situational value because of its position in line with the cope reclamation at the Hekendorperweg.
