Omschrijving
FABRIEKSSCHOORSTEEN, gebouwd in de periode 1880-1910. De aan de noordzijde van de hal met zaagtanddaken, deels ingebouwde schoorsteen, diende oorspronkelijk als afvoerpijp van de door stoomkracht aangedreven machines.
De schoorsteen is opgetrokken in rode strengperssteen en heeft een opbouw op cirkelvormige plattegrond. De hoogte bedraagt ongeveer 25 meter. Op regelmatige afstand van elkaar zijn om de taps toelopende pijp stalen ringen aangebracht. De bovenzijde van de pijp is deels uitgekraagd.

De fabrieksschoorsteen is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als onderdeel van de industrialisatiegeschiedenis van de touwfabriek. FACTORY CHIMNEY, built in the period 1880-1910. The chimney, partially built into the north side of the hall with sawtooth roofs, originally served as an exhaust pipe for machines driven by steam power.
The chimney is built in red extruded brick and has a structure on a circular floor plan. The height is approximately 25 metres. At regular intervals steel rings are fitted around the tapering pipe. The top of the pipe is partially corbelled out.

The factory chimney is of general importance due to its cultural historical value as part of the industrialisation history of the rope factory. Of architectural historical value due to the building type and also of ensemble value due to the relationship with the other components on the factory grounds.
