Inleiding.
STAL voor een paard, gebouwd in het laatste kwart van de 19de eeuw en onderdeel van een in 1847 in Ambachtelijk-Traditionele stijl gebouwde langgevelboerderij.
Omschrijving.
De rechthoekige stal telt twee vakken, heeft een bouwlaag, is opgetrokken uit handvorm baksteen en heeft een wolfdak met oud-Hollandse pannen. De gevel heeft een rondboogvormig afgesloten ingang met opgeklampte deur, rechts een halfrond stalraam. In de linker gevel een boograam met een luik. De achtergevel heeft een rondboogvormige doorgang en een halfronde beluikte opening. De rechter zijgevel sluit aan op een schuur en heeft twee halfronde ramen. Eenvoudig driehoekspant, balklaag op moerbalk en strijkbalken.
Waardering.
De paardenstal is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in het Brabantse zandgebied en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de meerledige boerderij. The rectangular stable has two bays, has one storey, is built up from handmade brick and has a half-hipped roof with old-Dutch tiles. The facade has a round-arched closed entrance with clamped door, to the right a semi-circular stable window. In the left facade a round-arched window with a shutter. The rear facade has a round-arched passage and a semi-circular shuttered opening. The right side facade adjoins a barn and has two semi-circular windows. Simple triangular roof truss structure, beam layer on balk and bracing beams.
Valuation.
The horse stable is of general interest. The building has cultural-historical importance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in the Brabant sand region and as an example of the typological development of the multi-unit farmstead. Architecturally the building is important because of its austere construction and the particular coherence between exterior and interior.
