Inleiding.
In 1847 in Ambachtelijk-Traditionele vormen gebouwde BOERDERIJ van het langgeveltype, oorspronkelijk een dubbel woonhuis. Het gebouw is rond 1995 deels gerestaureerd.
Omschrijving.
De langgerekte boerderij is gebouwd van handvorm baksteen, telt een bouwlaag en heeft een wolfdak, dat boven het woongedeelte met riet en verder met oud-Hollandse pannen is gedekt. Onder de dakvoet een stroomlaag.
Het woongedeelte heeft een ingang met vernieuwde deur onder gedeeld bovenlicht. Links en rechts van de deur zesruits schuiframen met luiken. In de zijgevel een opkamer- en zolderraam en vlechtingen. Tegen de gevel een leipeer. De achtergevel heeft een vierruits raam en een deur naar de geut. Het bedrijfsgedeelte, dat oorspronkelijk een afzonderlijk woonhuis vormde, heeft aan de voorzijde een zestienruits stolpraam, een opgeklampte deur met erboven een geometrisch bovenlicht en een tweetal vierruits raampjes. In de linker zijgevel met vlechtingen een opgeklampte deur, twee onregelmatig geplaatste beluikte opening en en een hooiluik op zolder. Vlechtingen en sporen van een kelder en opkamer. In de achtergevel die hier iets verder uitspringt een dubbele staldeur onder korfboog en gedeelde opgeklampte deur en een raampje.
Het inwendige bezit nog oorspronkelijke enkelvoudige balklagen en paneeldeuren. In het bedrijfsgedeelte een moerbalk met standvink.
Waardering.
De boerderij is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in het Brabantse zandgebied en als bijzonder voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de boerderij uit een dubbelhuisje. Architectuurhistorisch is het pand van belang vanwege de sobere opbouw en de bijzondere samenhang tussen exterieur en interieur. De boerderij is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van het exterieur en is als zodanig zeldzaam.

The elongated farmhouse is built of handmade brick, has one storey and a half-hipped roof, which above the residential part is covered with thatch and further with old-Dutch tiles. Below the eaves a drip moulding.
The residential part has an entrance with renewed door under divided fanlight. To the left and right of the door six-pane sash windows with shutters. In the side facade a chamber and attic window and wattle infill. Against the facade a slate pear. The rear facade has a four-pane window and a door to the gutter. The business part, which originally formed a separate dwelling house, has on the front a sixteen-pane roof window, a clamped door with above it a geometric fanlight and two four-pane small windows. In the left side facade with wattle infill a clamped door, two irregularly placed shuttered opening and a hay door on the upper floor. Wattle infill and traces of a cellar and chamber. In the rear facade which here projects slightly further a double stable door under basket arch and divided clamped door and a small window.
The interior still possesses original simple beam layers and panel doors. In the business part a balk with a stand anchor.
Valuation.
The farmhouse is of general interest. The building has cultural-historical importance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in the Brabant sand region and as a particular example of the typological development of the farmhouse from a double dwelling house. Architecturally the building is important because of its austere construction and the particular coherence between exterior and interior. The farmhouse is important because of the integrity of its exterior and is as such rare.
