Het DUBBELE WOONHUIS werd gebouwd rond 1880 in eclectische stijl en vormt een onderdeel van de in diezelfde tijd tot stand gekomen gevelwand aan een uitvalsweg van de binnenstad.

Het tweelaagse dubbelpand telt zes traveeën, met gepleisterde voorgevel en een afgeplat schilddak waarop gesmoorde muldenpannen, met de nok parallel aan de straat. De plint en de vensterdorpels zijn van hardsteen. Onder de dorpels van de getoogde stolpvensters bevinden zich raambefjes. De ramen en de deuren hebben een stucomlijsting met oreillons en kuiven. De paneeldeuren, met hardstenen trapjes, bevinden zich centraal in het blok, deze traveeën springen iets naar voren. Het fries is voorzien van velden, de geprofileerde kroonlijst heeft een tandlijst. The two-storey double building comprises six bays, with plastered front facade and a hipped roof with half-hidden pantiles, with the ridge parallel to the street. The plinth and window sills are of ashlar. Below the sills of the arched casement windows are window aprons. The windows and doors have stucco moulding with ears and hood mouldings. The panelled doors, with ashlar steps, are situated centrally in the block; these bays project slightly forward. The frieze is furnished with panels, the profiled cornice has dentil moulding. The middle bays are accentuated by extended blocks in the dentil course. Above the middle window at both dwellings is a dormer with T-window and profiled pediment. The dwellings have slightly arched windows with T-frames. The window mouldings are identical at numbers 11 and 13 although the windows on the ground floor of number 13 have no hood moulding and no T-frame.
