Inleiding.
PASTORIE bij de St. Quirinus kerk. Gebouwd in 1911 naar ontwerp van J.Th.J. Cuijpers in Um-1800 stijl.
Omschrijving.
Tweelaags pand op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder schilddak waarvan de nok haaks op de straat staat. De pastorie is uitgevoerd in baksteen, gevels zijn aan de bovenzijde voorzien van een wit gepleisterde band. De voorgevel is vijf traveeën breed en heeft een hoger opgebouwde middenrisaliet bekroond door een gebogen fronton. In de risaliet bevindt zich op de begane grond de ingang bestaande uit een brede houten deur met driedelig bovenlicht onder een luifel op consoles. Voor de deur een bordes en trap naar de straat. Aan weerszijden zijn schuiframen met in de bovenlichten een kleine roedenverdeling en houten rolluiken. Op de verdieping ramen met dezelfde indeling. In de top van de risaliet een breed raam met roedenverdeling. Boogveld van het fronton is betimmerd. De rechterzijgevel heeft ramen als in de voorgevel en een kleine zij-ingang, daarboven smalle hoge ramen. Achter tegen deze zijgevel is een éénlaags blokvormige uitbouw onder tentdak met ramen en een deur. In de achtergevel een terrasdeur. In de linkerzijgevel enkele ramen als in de voorgevel. Het pand is middels een doorgang met de kerk verbonden. Het interieur verkeert grotendeels nog in oorspronkelijke staat. Een centrale gang doorsnijdt het pand, links daarvan bevindt zich een kamer-en-suite met paneeldeuren. Rechts zijn van de straat af achtereenvolgens een een kamer, trappartij en keuken aanwezig. Daarnaast bevat het interieur onder andere een aantal paneeldeuren.
Waardering.
De pastorie is van algemeen belang. Ze heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als uitdrukking van een de ontwikkeling van het katholicisme in de vroege twintigste eeuw en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de dorpspastorie. Het geheel is van architectuurhistorisch belang wegens materiaalgebruik en ornamentiek en neemt een belangrijke plaats in in het oeuvre van de architect.
