Inleiding.
Het GRAFMONUMENT dateert waarschijnlijk rond 1900 en is bestemd voor de familie Testers- de Meulemeester. De dekplaat van de grafkelder en de tekstplaten zijn vernieuwd in 1951. Het vertoont Neo-Gotische elementen. Omschrijving.
Het dubbelbrede graf bestaat uit een voetplaat en een opstand met beeld, pilonen en tekstplaquettes. Het is gesigneerd door L. Jockheere Fils, Antwerpen. De hardstenen voetplaat is 2.80 breed, 2.23 lang. Het beeld is totaal 2.40 hoog. Op de granieten dekplaat met kruis staan de familienamen. In het midden van de opstand staat een Heilig Hart beeld. Het marmeren beeld van Christus met de hand wijzend naar zijn hart is sterk aangetast door craquelé. Op de vernieuwde sokkel van het beeld staat te lezen: "Ik zal hun veilige toevlucht zijn gedurende hun leven en vooral bij hun dood". Aan weerskanten van het beeld staan hardsteen pilonen met een gewelfde voet en een kubusvormige bekroning. De schacht ervan is aan de zijden en op de kubus geheel versierd met klimop in reliëf. Hiertussen in staan de lagere tekstplaquettes, waarvan de linker van belettering is voorzien. Hierop staan vermeld de namen: Adrianus Testers 1895-1951/ echtgenote Elisabeth de Meulemeester 1883-1953. Verder rusten hier de in 1959 door moord om het leven gekomen Laurentius Testers en Dorothea Leenders. Tenslotte vond Beatrix Testers hier in 1984 een laatste rustplaats.
Waardering.
De graftombe is van algemeen belang. Het object heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van de katholieke grafcultuur, het is tevens van belang voor de typologische ontwikkeling van het grafmonument. Het heeft architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege de opzet en detaillering. Het is gaaf bewaard gebleven. Het is zeldzaam vanwege de verbeelding van het Heilig Hart.

Bij de voetplaat is een hardstenen knielbankje met de tekst: "bid voor ons" geplaatst. Tegen het ijzeren hekwerk staan aan de binnenzijde drie achthoekige zinken bakken. Aan de binnenzijde hiervan is bij één ervan te lezen dat het een eerbetoon was van de Katholieke Kiesvereeniging, een ander van de leden van het R.K. Armbestuur. In de laatste een restant van een krans van ijzer en zink. De 3.20 hoge hardstenen opstand heeft een voetstuk met marmeren plaquettes, evenals in de spitsboogvormige uitsparingen onder zadeldak met kruisbloem. Hierboven springt het monument in, met afzaten en wordt bekroond door een kalkstenen kruis met driepassen aan de uiteinden van de armen. De teksten luidden als volgt: "De Meulemeester 1843-1888 - Van Hasselt 1858-.... / Hier rusten de heer J. de Meulemeester in leven pastoor der parochie O.L.V. van Lourdes 1886-1921". Asselbergs 8-10-1837 / 15-3-1905 / Jacobus Adrianus Dekkers 10-5-1827 / 20-1-1908 en hunne kinderen Cornelia 1871-1880 / Antonetta 1869-1887 / Anna 1868-1944." De opstand heeft een geprofileerde voet en een brede gewelfde dekplaat. Hiertussen is met grote knoppen op de hoekpunten een marmeren plaquette bevestigd waarop staat dat hier het Familiegraf van Dekkers-Asselbergs is. De bekroning wordt gevormd door een vrijwel driehoekige opzet met bewerkt kruis. De driehoekige opzet is voorzien van een triglyph met metopen, krullen, bladwerk en twee fijn gemodelleerde portrethoofden.

Description.
The grave consists of a wrought-iron enclosure, a grave slab and a high stele with cross. The wrought-iron fencing executed in Neo-Gothic style with cross decoration is 2.45 wide and 2.75 long. At the base slab an ashlar kneeling bench with the text: "pray for us" has been placed. Inside the iron fencing stand three octagonal zinc containers. On the inside of one of these it can be read that it was a tribute from the Catholic Electoral Association, another from the members of the R.K. Poor Relief Board. In the last one a remnant of a wreath of iron and zinc.
The 3.20 high ashlar superstructure has a plinth with marble plaques, as well as in the pointed-arch recesses under gabled roof with cross-flower. Above this the monument steps in, with offsets, and is crowned by a limestone cross with trefoils at the ends of the arms. The texts read as follows: "De Meulemeester 1843-1888 - Van Hasselt 1858-.... / Here rests the gentleman J. de Meulemeester in life vicar of the parish of O.L.V. of Lourdes 1886-1921". Other names of the deceased are virtually illegible.

The superstructure has a moulded base and a broad vaulted cover slab. Between these a marble plaque is fastened with large knobs at the corner points, stating that this is the Family Grave of Dekkers-Asselbergs.
