Inleiding
KRUKBOERDERIJ, gebouwd in Ambachtelijk-Traditionele stijl rond 1870 en rond 1900 van een nieuwe voorgevel voorzien. Het pand ligt aan een pad met daarvoor een perceel landbouwgrond en is heden in gebruik als woonhuis.
Omschrijving
De krukboerderij heeft een T-vormige plattegrond en een voorgevel opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen. De andere gevels zijn van handvorm baksteen. Het schilddak van het anderhalflaagse woongedeelte is gedekt met muldenpannen. Het eenlaagse stalgedeelte heeft een afgewolfd rieten zadeldak met een voet van tuile-du-Nordpannen.
De plint is gepleisterd, de voorgevel heeft rechte steekankers en telt vijf traveeën met vier zesruits schuifvensters met luiken en als tweede van rechts een paneeldeur. Onder het raam rechts daarvan een rechthoekig kelderraampje. De paneeldeur is voorzien van verdiepte panelen en een bovenlicht met afgeronde binnenranden. Op zolder drie openslaande tweeruits vensters.
Het stalgedeelte heeft in de linkerzijgevel een lage staldeur en staldeuren met een vierruits raampje daarin. In de rechtergevel bevindt zich een gietijzeren rond luchtrooster en een vernieuwd vierruits raam.
Waardering
De krukboerderij is van algemeen belang. Het object heeft cultuurhistorisch belang als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van de landbouw in de Maaskant en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van de boerderij in dit gebied in de late negentiende eeuw. Architectuurhistorisch is het van belang vanwege de ornamentiek, de afgewogen en eenvoudige vormen en de bijzondere samenhang tussen exterieur en interieur. Het heeft ensemblewaarden als onderdeel van een groep boerderijen die samenhangt met de ontwikkeling der verkaveling en de laat-negentiende-eeuwse dorpsontwikkeling. Het is belangrijk vanwege de gaafheid van het in- en exterieur en is als zodanig zeldzaam.

Description
The cruck farmhouse has a T-shaped ground plan and a front facade constructed from machine-made brick. The other facades are of handmade brick. The hipped roof of the one-and-a-half-storey residential section is covered with half-round tiles. The single-storey stable section has a half-hipped roof of thatch with a base of Tuile-du-Nord tiles.
The plinth is plastered; the front facade has straight angle anchors and comprises five bays with four six-paned sash windows with shutters and, second from the right, a panelled door. Beneath the window to its right a rectangular basement light. The panelled door is fitted with recessed panels and a fanlight with rounded inner edges. On the attic floor three hinged two-paned windows.
The stable section has a low stable door in the left gable and stable doors with a four-paned window therein. In the right gable is situated a cast-iron round ventilation grille and a renewed four-paned window.
Valuation
The cruck farmhouse is of general interest. The object is of cultural-historical importance as an example of the socio-economic development of agriculture in the Maaskant and as an example of the typological development of the farmhouse in this area in the late nineteenth century. From an architectural-historical perspective it is of importance on account of its ornamentation, its considered and simple forms and the special coherence between exterior and interior. It has ensemble value as part of a group of farmhouses related to the development of the land division and late nineteenth-century village development. It is important for the integrity of its interior and exterior and is as such rare.
