De kanonKAZEMAT VI uit 1933 ligt ter hoogte van de schutsluizen en in de as van de dijk van de Friese kust tot Kornwerderzand. De kazemat met een afmeting van ca. 10 x 26 m had twee kanon-opstellingen en was volledig onderkelderd. De twee schietgaten bevinden zich links en rechts in de oostwand. Centraal is de trechtervormige observatiesleuf. Alleen de noord-zijde is aangeaard. De westzijde is de keelzijde met twee ingangen en centraal twee buitentoiletten.
Bij de schietgaten is pantserstaal aangebracht ter compensatie van de geringe betondikte die noodzakelijk was om, in verband met veiligheid, de kanonloop buiten de kazemat te laten steken.
INTERIEUR: op de begane grond van de kazemat bevinden zich twee kanonkamers, een manschappenverblijf, twee opstelruimtes voor de veld-affuit, een commandopost en een observatiepost. De kelder bevat twee onderofficierenvertrekken, een manschappenverblijf, drie munitiekamers, twee regenwaterputten en twee toiletten. Verder zijn de zware stalen toegangshekken, de zware stalen binnendeuren, het buizensysteem voor de interne communicatie, de inwendige schietgaten met luik en het verlichtingssysteem origineel. De twee buitentoiletten zijn dicht gemetseld.

Description
The gun CASEMATE VI from 1933 is located at the level of the sluice gates and in line with the dike of the Frisian coast to Kornwerderzand. The casemate, measuring approximately 10 x 26 m, had two gun emplacements and was completely cellared. The two gun ports are located left and right in the east wall. Centrally located is the funnel-shaped observation trench. Only the north side is banked with earth. The west side is the gorge side with two entrances and centrally two external toilets.
Armour plate steel has been applied at the gun ports to compensate for the thin concrete thickness that was necessary, in view of safety, to have the gun barrel protrude outside the casemate.
INTERIOR: on the ground floor of the casemate are two gun chambers, a troop quarters, two positions for the field gun carriage, a command post and an observation post. The cellar contains two non-commissioned officers' rooms, a troop quarters, three ammunition chambers, two rainwater sumps and two toilets. Furthermore, the heavy steel access gates, the heavy steel interior doors, the pipe system for internal communication, the internal gun ports with shutter and the lighting system are original. The two external toilets are bricked up.
