De zoeklichtKAZEMAT VII uit 1932 ligt ter hoogte van de schutsluizen, ten zuiden van Kazemat VI en heeft een afmeting van ca. 11 x 23 m. In de kazemat was een zoeklicht met spiegelinstallatie gepland, echter deze was ten tijde van de Duitse invasie nog niet geleverd. De kazemat is met uitzondering van de keelzijde aan alle zijden aangeaard. De forse ingang bevindt zich rechts aan de westzijde en heeft een groot stalen hek dat niet origineel is. Direct naast de ingang liggen twee buitentoiletten die tegenwoordig zijn dichtgemetseld. Het zoeklicht- of spiegelgat bevindt zich in het dak van de kazemat, links van de ingang. Het gat is tegenwoordig afgedekt met een betonplaat. Verder bevindt zich in het met mastiek besmeerde dak een gietijzeren observatiekoepel.
INTERIEUR: in de kazemat bevindt zich een opstelplaats voor het zoeklicht, een spiegelkamer, een remise voor de spiegelinstallatie, een aggregaat, een manschappenverblijf, een observatiepost en een ondergronds brandstofreservoir. De stalen binnendeuren, het inwendige verlichtingssysteem en het stalen luik van het inwendige schietgat, zijn alle origineel.
De kazemat maakt tegenwoordig deel uit van het kazemattenmuseum Kornwerderzand.

Description
The searchlight CASEMATE VII from 1932 is located at the level of the sluice gates, south of Casemate VI and measures approximately 11 x 23 m. In the casemate, a searchlight with mirror installation was planned, however this had not been delivered by the time of the German invasion. The casemate is banked with earth on all sides except the gorge side. The substantial entrance is located on the right of the west side and has a large steel gate that is not original. Directly next to the entrance are two external toilets which are now bricked up. The searchlight or mirror opening is located in the roof of the casemate, to the left of the entrance. The opening is now covered with a concrete slab. Furthermore, in the mastic-coated roof is a cast-iron observation cupola.
INTERIOR: in the casemate is a position for the searchlight, a mirror chamber, a storage room for the mirror installation, a power generator, troop quarters, an observation post and an underground fuel reservoir. The steel interior doors, the internal lighting system and the steel shutter of the internal gun port are all original.
The casemate is now part of the Kornwerderzand casemate museum.
