De Duitse kanonKAZEMAT (type 667, Kleinstscharterstand für 5 cm Kwk), gebouwd in 1943, met een afmeting van 6,3 x 6,5 m, ligt ten zuiden van Kazemat IV en is gericht op de brug. Het schietgat heeft een forse uitstekende betonnen afzaat. De hoeken zijn aan deze zijde afgerond en het oppervlak is bedekt met "camouflagekuiltjes". De gedeeltelijk aangeaarde kazemat heeft een ingang aan de zuidwestzijde met daarnaast een betonnen trap naar de afzonderlijke open observatie- en mitrailleurpost. INTERIEUR: de kazemat bevat een portaal, een kanonkamer met granaatopslagnissen en een koker voor de afvoer van hulzen.

Description
The German cannon CASEMATE (type 667, Kleinstscharterstand für 5 cm Kwk), built in 1943, with dimensions of 6.3 x 6.5 m, lies to the south of Casemate IV and is directed towards the bridge. The firing aperture has a substantial projecting concrete overhang. The corners are rounded on this side and the surface is covered with "camouflage pits". The partially earthed casemate has an entrance on the south-west side with beside it a concrete staircase leading to the separate open observation and machine-gun post. INTERIOR: the casemate contains a portico, a cannon room with grenade recesses and a duct for the evacuation of cartridge cases.
