De rentenierswoning heeft globaal een vierkante plattegrond en wordt gedekt door een afgeknot schilddak met zwart geglazuurde platte Friese pannen met op de vier hoeken achthoekige schoorstenen met borden en puntig piron. Het gebouw is uit bruine baksteen opgetrokken; de voorgevel heeft een plint van gefrijnde natuursteen, de achter- en zijgevels hebben een gemetselde plint. Onderlangs de dakrand loopt een geprofileerde kroonlijst met florale decoraties. De voorgevel wordt aan weerszijden begrensd door ondiepe pilasters met spiegelvlakken. De twee T-vensters aan weerszijden van het middenrisaliet staan op een doorlopende stenen waterlijst. Zij zijn lichtgebogen en voorzien van geornamenteerde stucomlijsting met palmet. De schuin geplaatste pilasters met spiegelvlakken van het gemetselde middenrisaliet lopen door tot de geprofileerde tympaanachtige afsluiting ervan. Een natuurstenen bordes van tweemaal twee treden met natuurstenen platen aan de voorzijde en gietijzeren leuning leidt naar de brede houten voordeur met gietijzeren roosters die zich in een diepe portiek bevindt. De vloer van de portiek is betegeld; de zijmuren zijn met twee spiegelvlakken versierd. De leuning van het bordes bestaat uit spijlen met lansvormige afsluiting; de voordeur heeft dubbele zijlichten en een bovenlicht. Boven de hoofdingang is een balkon met gietijzeren balustrade; het rust op consoles en is voorzien van een geprofileerde lijst. De dubbele balkondeuren hebben zijlichten. In de rechter zijgevel zitten drie T-vensters met gebogen strekken. De twee langere steunen op een natuurstenen cordonlijst. Onder het kleinere venster zit het raam van de provisiekelder. Aan achterzijde is een houten hok met afdak en sierlijst aangebouwd. In het dakschild zitten drie nieuwe dakvensters. In de linker zijgevel zitten drie T-vensters met gebogen strekken, in het dakschild een nieuwe dakkapel. In de achtergevel is rechts een nieuw raam ingebracht. Links is een houten, deels met platen overdekte veranda aangebouwd. Het rechter gedeelte van de veranda, vóór de deur die toegang geeft tot de gang, is origineel. Het -grotere- linker gedeelte is van recenter datum. Twee dubbele houten tuindeuren geven toegang, vanaf de kamer, tot de veranda. Een houten aanbouw verbindt de achterzijde met een lange houten schuur. Het INTERIEUR is qua indeling nog grotendeels origineel. De gang verdeelt het huis in twee gelijke delen. In de gang ligt een marmeren tegelvloer. Een gepleisterde boog vormt de scheiding tussen voor en achter. Links van de gang bevindt zich een voorkamer waarin onder meer: de oude vensterluiken met sjabloneerwerk, een schoorsteenmantel van zwart marmer, een vloer van brede houten planken, originele paneeldeuren. Rechts van de gang een kamer met originele vensterbanken en luiken, en kasten met originele deuren met profielen.

The gentleman farmer's residence has broadly a square plan and is covered by a truncated hipped roof with black-glazed flat Frisian tiles with on the four corners octagonal chimneys with boards and pointed piron. The building is built of brown brick; the front façade has a plinth of fretted natural stone, the rear and side façades have a mortared plinth. A profiled cornice with floral decorations runs along the underside of the roof edge. The front façade is bounded on either side by shallow pilasters with mirror planes. The two T-windows on either side of the central risalit stand on a continuous stone drip moulding. They are slightly curved and provided with ornamented stucco surround with palmette. The obliquely placed pilasters with mirror planes of the mortared central risalit continue to the profiled pediment-like termination thereof. A natural stone landing of twice two steps with natural stone plates at the front and cast-iron railing leads to the broad wooden front door with cast-iron grilles which is situated in a deep portico. The floor of the portico is tiled; the side walls are decorated with two mirror planes. The railing of the landing consists of spindles with lance-shaped termination; the front door has double sidelights and a fanlight. Above the main entrance is a balcony with cast-iron balustrade; it rests on consoles and is provided with a profiled moulding. The double balcony doors have sidelights. In the right side façade are three T-windows with curved stretches. The two longer ones stand on a natural stone cordon moulding. Below the smaller window is the window of the provisions cellar. At the rear a wooden hut with lean-to and decorative moulding has been adjoined. In the roof slope are three new roof windows. In the left side façade are three T-windows with curved stretches, in the roof slope a new roof dormer. In the rear façade a new window has been inserted on the right. On the left a wooden veranda, partly covered with sheets, has been adjoined. The right part of the veranda, in front of the door which gives access to the hall, is original. The - larger - left part is of more recent date. Two double wooden garden doors give access, from the room, to the veranda. A wooden extension connects the rear with a long wooden barn. The INTERIOR is as regards layout still largely original. The hall divides the house into two equal parts. In the hall is a marble tile floor. A plastered arch forms the separation between front and rear. To the left of the hall is a front room containing among other things: the old window shutters with stencilwork, a mantelpiece of black marble, a floor of broad wooden planks, original panel doors. To the right of the hall a room with original window seats and shutters, and cupboards with original doors with mouldings.
