Inleiding
Werkplaats op enigszins taps toelopende plattegrond, met één korte zijde tegen het tussenlid naar het pakhuis gebouwd en voorzien van een sheddak. De werkplaats telt één bouwlaag en dateert uit 1917-1918.
Omschrijving
In baksteen, ijzer en glas opgetrokken werkplaats waarvan de (lange) zuidgevel is ingedeeld met twee maal twee brede en hoge gekoppelde met roeden ingedeelde vensters onder ontlastingsbogen ter weerszijden van een centraal geplaatste deur met gedeeld bovenlicht onder ontlastingsboog. De westgevel heeft boven een gecementeerde plint vier identieke vierkante vensters met ijzeren roeden en in de twee zijvlakken van de sheddaken een rondvenstertje. De noordgevel is blind, tussen de werkplaats en het pakhuis is in 1950 een laag tussenlid gebouwd waarover een sheddak met drie lichtkanten is geplaatst. Tussen de werkplaats en tussenlid een voormalige zijgevel met centraal geplaatste deur met links en rechts een identiek getoogd venster met ijzeren roedenverdeling.
Waardering
De werkplaats uit 1917-1918 met tussenlid uit 1950 vertegenwoordigt algemeen belang als substantieel en gaaf bewaard onderdeel van het pand Cillekens c.a. omdat het een historisch, logistiek element in het gehele complex vormt, met name op het bedrijfssegment ijzerbewerking. Architectuurhistorisch belang is vervat in de gaaf behouden gebleven hoofdvorm en hoofdconstructie terwijl de inmiddels tot binnenmuur getransformeerde korte zijgevel in indicerende en documentaire zin symbool staat voor het zich uitbreidende bedrijf en als zodanig een markant bouwkundig element uit de bedrijfsgeschiedenis vormt.

Workshop constructed of brick, iron and glass with its (long) south facade divided with two times two broad and tall coupled glazing-barred windows under relieving arches on either side of a centrally placed door with fanlight under relieving arch. The west facade has above a cemented plinth four identical square windows with iron glazing bars and in the two side faces of the saw-tooth roofs a small round window. The north facade is blank; between the workshop and the warehouse an intermediate section with a saw-tooth roof with three roof lights was built in 1950. Between the workshop and intermediate section a former side facade with centrally placed door with to left and right an identical arched window with iron glazing bars.
Valuation
The workshop from 1917-1918 with intermediate section from 1950 represents general importance as a substantial and well-preserved component of the Cillekens property c.a. because it forms a historical, logistical element in the entire complex, particularly on the business segment of ironworking. Architectural-historical importance is contained in the well-preserved main form and main construction while the formerly side facade, now transformed into an interior wall, stands in an indicative and documentary sense as a symbol of the expanding business and as such constitutes a distinctive architectural element from the business history.
