Omschrijving onderdeel 8:
TUINSIERADEN, bestaande uit: a. wapenleeuwtje, b. stel sokkels, c. ijzeren hekje.
ad a.: op de zuidelijke grachtmuur ten westen van het slot: kleine zandstenen, rechtopzittende wapenhoudende leeuw, XVII; wapen: De Clercq.
ad b.: op gazon ten westen van het kasteel: stel blauwstenen sokkels, waarop thans nieuwe urnen; vierkant, balustervormig op ingezwenket voetplaat; eerste helft XVIII; op zijvlakken, in laagreliëf, zwarte contourlijnen in L.XIV-stijl.
ad c.: tussen kasteel en ruïne (vroeger elders op het terrein): laag smeedijzeren sierhekje, XIXa; twee vleugels tussen twee eenvoudige dunne vierkante staafijzers; vleugels in het midden lager via zwak gebogen lijn; versieringen met krul-, cirkel- en boogmotieven.

Re a.: on the southern moat wall west of the castle: small sandstone, upright heraldic lion, 17th century; coat of arms: De Clercq.
Re b.: on lawn west of the castle: pair of blue stone plinths, on which new urns are now placed; square, baluster-shaped on an inswept foot plinth; first half 18th century; on side faces, in low relief, black outline lines in Louis XIV style.
Re c.: between castle and ruin (formerly elsewhere on the site): low wrought iron ornamental gate, first half 19th century; two wings between two simple thin square bar irons; wings lower in the middle via weakly curved line; decoration with curl, circle and arch motifs.
