Inleiding
Aan het oostelijke kerkpad, buiten het kerkhof, staat een eenvoudig BAARHUISJE. Wegens de traditionele baksteenarchitectuur is het baarhuisje moeilijk te dateren. Op grond van kadastraal kaartmateriaal en archiefonderzoek kan alleen worden vastgesteld dat het tussen 1875 en 1925 moet zijn gebouwd.
Omschrijving
Het kleine baarhuis heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en is opgetrokken in bruine bakstenen met gesneden voegwerk en op een gepleisterde plint. Het gebouwtje heeft een flauw hellend zadeldak, belegd met gesmoorde, gegolfde Friese pannen. Aan de westzijde zijn twee ventilatie-openingen met schoepenrooster. Aan de zuidzijde, in de korte gevel, een getoogde dubbele deur onder een streklaag met imitatie sluit- en aanzetstenen in gele bakstenen.
Waardering
Het baarhuisje nabij het kerkhof is van algemene cultuurhistorische waarde:
- als essentieel en functioneel onderdeel van het kerkcomplex,
- wegens de eenvoudige, architectonische gaafheid,

On the eastern church path, outside the churchyard, stands a simple MORTUARY CHAPEL. Due to the traditional brickwork architecture, the mortuary chapel is difficult to date. On the basis of cadastral map material and archival research, it can only be established that it must have been built between 1875 and 1925.
Description
The small mortuary chapel has a rectangular floor plan and is built in brown bricks with cut pointing and on a plastered plinth. The building has a gently sloping gabled roof, covered with dampened, corrugated Frisian tiles. On the west side are two ventilation openings with louvred grilles. On the south side, in the short gable, an arched double door under a stretcher course with imitation striking and setting stones in yellow bricks.
Valuation
The mortuary chapel near the churchyard is of general cultural-historical value:
