Het object werd gebouwd als KETELHUIS in 1913 in opdracht van P.F. van Vlissingen.
Omschrijving
Het rechthoekige gebouw telt twee bouwlagen. De gevels zijn opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen met tand- en sierlijst onder de gootlijst van het zadeldak. De gevels worden geleed door lisenen. De ijzeren ramen hebben een kleine roedenverdeling en een kunststeen latei. Het middelste venster op de etage is vormgegeven als rondboograam.
Waardering
Het ketelhuis van 1913 is van algemeen belang. Het gebouw heeft cultuurhistorische waarden als voorbeeld van de sociaal-economische ontwikkeling van Helmond als industriestad van nationale betekenis. The rectangular building comprises two storeys. The facades are constructed of machine-made brick with tooth and decorative moulding under the drip moulding of the gabled roof. The facades are articulated by pilasters. The iron windows have small glazing bars and a cast stone lintel. The middle window on the storey is designed as a round-arch window.

The boiler house of 1913 is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical values as an example of the socio-economic development of Helmond as an industrial city of national significance.
