Grote rechthoekige GRAFKELDER met afgeplatte opbouw, uitgevoerd in hardsteen, met twee toegangen in de voorzijde. Op de vier hoeken acroterieën. Aan de voorzijde in verheven schrift, en oorspronkelijk gelakt in de rand de tekst:" Familiegraf van ds. L. Schouten Hzn" , aan de voorzijde de tekst " Hij zal de dood verslinden tot overwinning jes 25.8".
Waardering
Grafkelder van algemeen belang vanwege de kunsthistorische waarde als karakteristiek voorbeeld van grafkunst. Tevens vanwege de funerair-historische waarde als onderdeel van de begraafplaats 'Soestbergen'.

Large rectangular GRAVE VAULT with flattened superstructure, executed in hardstone, with two entrances in the front. On the four corners acroteria. On the front in raised script, and originally painted in the border the text: "Family grave of Rev. L. Schouten Hzn", on the front the text "He will swallow up death unto victory Isa 25.8".
Appraisal
